The 22nd International Forging Congress will be held by Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry from 17 to 22, September, 2017 in Hangzhou, P. R. China.
Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, is the political, economic, cultural and financial center, and also be one of the seven famous ancient capitals, one of important electronic commerce center in China.
Hangzhou, as “paradise” reputation, is well known for its beautiful scenery. There are many historical sites in the city, and a large number of natural and cultural landscape heritage in the West Lake and its surrounding. Hangzhou is one of the cradles of Wu Yue culture, with deeply historical and cultural accumulation. The main representative of the unique cultures are the Liangzhu Culture, Silk Culture, Tea Culture, and many tales which have come down to become Hangzhou culture representative.
Hangzhou was benefited from the convenience of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Trading Ports, and own rich silk and food industry, is historically important commercial hub. Later on the opening of railway lines such as Shanghai-Hangzhou railway lines and the import and export trade in Shanghai, light industry is developing rapidly.
International Forging Congress will be held in China again after 18 years, with the great changes have taken place in Chinese forging industry. Where to go and how to develop of the forging industry under the great developing situation of the Cyber-physical Systems (Internet of things and manufacturing platform)? It has become the subject of global forging practitioners. The 22nd International Forging Congress will focus on how to survive of forging enterprises in this era of great change, how to make the industry or enterprises become more powerful. It is no doubt that many elites, experts and excellent business operators in forging industry around the world will be gathered in the Congress to exchange their latest experience, and understanding of the times. And the Congress will also concentrate present the latest achievements of the forging key elements such as material, equipment, technology and the market.
